Music Programs

At Norwich Congregational Church, music is an integral part of our worship and church life.  

We have several choirs for various age ranges.  Our choirs are directed by Kathy Sherlock-Green. 

The adult choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM.

Some pieces recently sung include: "The Lone, Wild Bird, by David N. Johnson; "Simple Gifts" by Aaron Copland; and "Oh, Where Shall Wisdom be Found?" by William Boyce.  

Our hymns for worship are selected primarily from the Pilgrim and New Century hymnals.  

The Junior Choir (for grades 1 - 6) and the Youth Choir (grades 7 - 12) are also directed by Kathy.  Junior choir rehearses Thursdays at 3:30 PM.  Youth Choir rehearses after coffee hour on Sundays.  The Junior Choir performs an Advent musical during worship in early December.  The youth choirs have also participated in choral performances and exchanges with other local junior choirs.

Jane Helms is the church organist. Tacy Colaiacomo is the Youth and Junior Choir Accompanist.

The church recently purchased a Rodger's organ.
